Edenwood is an assessment and Treatment Unit for people with learning disabilities whose needs cannot be safely managed at the current time within the community.
On Edenwood the persons mental health and complex care needs can be fully assessed in a safe environment by a team of specialist health professionals.
We offer specialist support for people with a learning disability, autism, or mental health diagnosis and/or behaviours of concern.

Key Responsibilities:
Take day-to-day operational management responsibility for the ward team. Policy and service development/improvement, in partnership with other lead nurses and the involvement team. Be an effective leader and role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism. Effective management of resources, including financial, staffing, and clinical equipment, ensuring that the service functions at an optimal level within its agreed level of resources. Responsibility for creating and maintaining an environment conducive to facilitating learning and development for staff, patients, carers, students, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring all members of staff have regular clinical and management supervision, appraisals, statutory and mandatory training, and access to specialist training to competently work within all areas of the Physical Treatment Team.
