As the Ward Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care across various wards, including rehabilitation and low secure wards, for patients with Learning Disabilities and Mental Disorders. Your responsibilities will include: Leadership and Team Management:
Provide clear leadership to the Nursing team, efficiently managing shifts for optimal patient care. Patient-Centered Care:
Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement, ensuring individual needs are met. Compliance and Ethical Practice:
Adhere to all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation. Respect the rights of others and promote ethical practice at all times. Care Planning and Assessment:
Contribute to patient assessments, collaborate with individuals to formulate care plans, and monitor patient progress. Education and Mentorship:
Mentor and support student nurses and other team members, contributing to their professional development. Professional Development:

RMN or RNLD Qualification:
Hold a valid RMN or RNLD qualification. Post-Registration Experience:
Have a minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience. Supervisory Experience:
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting. Mentoring Certificate:
Possess a recognised mentoring certificate (preferable). Teaching and Assessment Skills:
Ability to assess and teach junior staff effectively. Organizational Skills:
