The Walker Close team are looking for a temporary Band 7 CTL (LD or RMN Nurse) to work on the LD inpatient Assessment and Treatment Unit. You will be joining a friendly, motivated and enthusiastic team who are on their journey to outstanding. The wards form part of the acute service for learning disability and autism, along with the Intensive Support Team (IST), who work with people in the community to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions or provide transitional support between services. To be responsible for the management and leadership of a team of health professionals providing care over a 24-hour period. To provide effective leadership and management to staff which promotes high performance standards both individually and as a team. Expected to lead the ward team in providing high quality, compassionate nursing care and will be able to demonstrate this through compliance with performance outcomes. Expected to be a positive and strong leader who will set a clear and compelling vision for the team, will be a visible presence who influences and supports consistently great teamwork and a positive culture. Experience
Able to demonstrate experience at a senior clinical level including staff management/supervision experience. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team. Evidence of leading a team through change. Qualified as a nurse in excess of 2 years. Qualifications
