You’ll master the ins and outs of the warehouse process—from stock control and goods receipt to timely dispatch via multiple carriers. The team is small so your contribution counts! If you’re passionate about logistics and take pride in keeping things organised and efficient, this is the perfect opportunity for you! What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Picking & Packing: Accurately and quickly picking orders, packing them to optimum weight and box size for delivery.
  • Dispatch: Using our clients IT system to ensure goods are sent out on time with various carrier options.
  • Stock Control & Replenishment: Keeping the warehouse organised, clean, and efficient, with precise stock control and restocking shelves.
  • Goods In/Backorders: Checking goods in from suppliers and monitoring backorders for customers.
  • Local Deliveries: Occasionally stepping into a company vehicle for small local delivery and collection tasks.
Skills and Experience:
  • Physically Fit: Comfortable with lifting moderately heavy boxes.
  • Multi-tasking Pro: Capable of juggling tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Excellent IT skills to handle dispatch and inventory systems.
  • Team Player: Great communication skills to collaborate with your team, clients, and carriers.
  • Attention to Detail: A sharp eye and reliable memory will ensure smooth operations.
  • Driving Licence: A valid driving licence for local deliveries is essential.
  • Forklift Experience: Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Pre-packing small parts and general warehouse tidiness.
  • Covering team roles during holidays.
  • Fire alarm testing and vehicle checks.
