Plan collections in such a way to be most cost efficient Ensure all problems are reported and, where possible, rectified as quickly as possible Ensure the smooth running of all collections, shunts and transfers Plan collections with approved 3rd parties Ensure that all customer requirements are adhered to (e.g. time-constrained jobs) Keep in regular contact with 3rd party suppliers to monitor journeys and any potential issues Provide clients with information on aspects such as traffic problems Ensure all collections are inputted onto Phoenix Arrange transfers between warehouses into loading depots Co-ordinate “sweeps” to provide efficient costing on set days from areas such as Heathrow, Bradford & Newcastle Co-ordinate with the warehouse on day to day issues relating to container availability and quay shunts Check inventory reports to ensure cargo is available ready for loads Support customer service, warehouse and operations with 3rd party loading Experience Required
Minimum 2 years LCL Transport/Warehouse experience Computer Knowledge
Good level of MS software and awareness of industry tools & technological developments Salary
