Warehouse Assistant (Occasional Class 2 Driver*)
to join our well-established and expanding team based at our HQ Warehouse in Halesowen, West Midlands. About the role: As our
Warehouse Assistant (Occasional Class 2 Driver*),
you will be working in a busy warehouse environment, with occasional Class 2 driving jobs required both locally and nationally. Working hours: Monday to Friday, working 9am to 6pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Includes 7 Saturday mornings per annum, working 4 hours from 8.30am to 12.30pm (breakfast provided!) Opportunity for paid overtime when required What we offer you : Highly competitive salary exceeding typical standard for the role. *Additional HGV payment for occasional Class 2 driving. 23 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays) increased with length of service. Key responsibilities as our Warehouse Assistant will include: Picking, checking and packing orders against picking notes ready for dispatch. Stock-checking. Receiving stock and checking delivery notes. Heavy lifting up to 25kg. Follow company safety procedures at all times. Forklift truck driving. *Occasional Class 2 driving as required (includes additional HGV payment). Skills we're looking for in our Warehouse Assistant: Valid Class 2 driving licence (essential). FLT licence (desirable). Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (desirable). Team player. Good communication skills. HAYLEY DEXIS
