Job Function:
Reporting directly to the office manager, our Warehouse Controller is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our warehouse stores and general buildings. You will be expected to carry out a variety of tasks related to the operation of our company.
With opportunities to diversify into a number of other roles within our business, this could be just the tip of the iceberg.
Primarily responsible for receipt, processing, and stock rotation of deliveries into the warehouse and dispatch of stock to our operations team, the maintenance of accurate stock records through appropriate stock control is key.
You will liaise with workshop, admin & operations personnel on any aspect of the operations and control of stock throughout the company and, along with the operations team, carry out wholesale deliveries as coordinated by the admin team.
Responsibilities:
Maintain appearance by being smart and presentable whilst in company uniform.
Utilise, maintain, and improve the new management software to:
Have full control of Bettavend stock, issuing and storage of both consumable & parts stock.
Work with the operations & engineering departments to ensure an optimum stock level is held for each product.
Optimise the warehouse layouts to ensure the available space is fully utilised.
Update and adapt current documented working practices.
Issue stock and other materials to the operations and engineering teams as above.
Conduct weekly and monthly stock control audits and monitor stock holding levels to ensure continuity of supply to our team and customers.
In coordination with the admin team, monitor and distribute wholesale deliveries to our customers.
Perform general maintenance duties throughout Bettavend premises as necessary, determined by yourself in conjunction with the management team.
Conduct facilities and safety inspections including daily fork lift equipment checks.
Assist with fleet safety checks and reactive maintenance.
Competencies:
Must be literate and numerate and work in a structured and methodical manner.
Be reactive and adaptable to the changing workloads consistent with a busy warehouse.
Must be very organised and methodical as well as having good interpersonal skills. The controller must be fanatical about ensuring stock is correctly rotated.
A Full UK driving license or a driving license that has been determined legal for use within the UK will be required.
Be able to liaise with multiple departments within the company and carry out tasks as necessary.

Operator Stock Issuing and IT Processing
End of day operator cash bag sorting and overnight storage

Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30
Starting Salary:
£23,816 during probation period rising to £24,960 subject to experience
