First Line Manager

to lead a team of people and coordinate activities to achieve business goals through focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture. This role is located at one of our biggest online fashion retailers’ sites in Crick. You will be working on the shift pattern of ‘any 5 from 7’ with the hours of 15:00 – 23:00. £29,900

per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: Monitor progress and performance against Key Performance Indicators and costs against budget. Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional, and team information. Manage the allocation of work on a day-to-day basis ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development. What you need to succeed at GXO: Experience of working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment, ideally within eCommerce. The ability to work on your own initiative, whilst effectively leading a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes, health and safety, and IOSH is highly desirable. We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
