Warehouse First Line Manager
to join our team in
Wellingborough , on our Costa & Whitbread contract. You’ll be responsible for a team of Warehouse Operatives, leading and monitoring colleagues to reach objectives and targets whilst adhering to all policies. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:00. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to
£31,366.44 per annum , and 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: Carry out the day-to-day management of a team of warehouse colleagues, managing performance, setting KPI’s and driving continuous improvement. Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams on a daily basis. Focus on colleague development by implementing a consistent appraisal process. Take responsibilities for Health and Safety and lead by example to ensure consistent compliance. What you need to succeed at GXO: Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment, ideally with temperature-controlled exposure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation. Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office. We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
