As a Warehouse Lead, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations at our site in Southport, ensuring delivery management (import and wholesale)inventory accuracy, regulatory adherence, and safe, efficient workflows. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape processes, grow a dedicated team, and contribute to a dynamic, growing business in a highly regulated sector. Job Description The Warehouse Lead will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our medical cannabis logistics. This position involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining strong communication with the Warehouse Manager and remote team members. You will manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all warehouse processes. Supervise daily activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching medical cannabis products, while optimising processes and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Ensure all products are handled in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies, including licensing, certifications, and inspections.

Coordinate order fulfillment processes to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements.

Safety & Security: Implement robust safety and security measures for the handling and storage of medical cannabis.

Logistics: Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager and logistics partners to ensure timely, efficient order fulfillment.

Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to implement strategies that optimise warehouse operations.

Communicate effectively with remote team members to align on inventory, shipping, and logistical updates.

Maintain strict compliance with cannabis industry regulations and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

Ensure proper storage of products, including maintaining required temperature and security conditions.

Monitor workplace safety and enforce safety protocols to minimise risks.

Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.

Utilise warehouse management systems to track stock levels, shipments, and returns.

Report inventory status and issues to the Warehouse Manager and remote operations team.

Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including shipments, inventory, and compliance reports.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications 3+ years of relevant industry experience

Qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus

Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

Physical ability to handle warehouse tasks, including lifting and operating equipment.

A proactive and adaptable approach to managing challenges in a fast-paced environment

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
