Our client, a leading provider of live broadcasting and production services are looking for an organised and proactive Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for all equipment, OB fleet and facilities at their busy depot. Preparing for multiple event setups you will work in a fast-paced environment and it is essential that you have a proven background in running a warehouse facility for either live events, broadcast or audio/visual organisations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Warehouse and Equipment Preparation: Manage the organisation and readiness of camera and audio kits, cables, and OB vehicles to support daily operations and events.
- Supplier and Asset Management: Oversee the contract and management of suppliers for equipment hire and returns, tracking logistics, and ensuring efficient administration of both internal and external assets.
- Cost Management and Negotiation: Calculate and compare costs for goods and services, negotiating with suppliers to ensure maximum value and cost efficiency.
- Fleet Support: Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to support vehicle maintenance, adhering to Operator Licence regulations.
- Budget and Record Keeping: Track and manage third-party supplier expenses, including repairs, warranties, and other costs to align with budget requirements.
- Stock Management System Administration: Utilise digital stock management systems to maintain inventory accuracy and streamline logistics.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Lead warehouse safety protocols, ensure PPE availability, and maintain health and safety standards for all operations.
- Building and Facilities Management: Oversee building services, aligning facilities management with business needs and objectives.
To be considered you will demonstrate strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and fantastic communication skills. You will manage and mentor one Warehouse Operative and over time, as the company continues to expand you will grow your team, however, it is also essential that you have the ability to work autonomously and proactively, have a strong work ethic and lead by example. You must also demonstrate a calm and composed persona and be able to respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise. Reporting directly to the COO, you will also work proactively to develop and improve the facilities on site within commercial limits as well as planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives.

Due to the nature of the live events that you will support, you will work on a rota schedule which will include out of hours and weekend work as required.
