THE ROLE: Join the business as Warehouse Manager within the UK Head Office facilities. This role is vital to maintaining a high quality supply chain and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse environment. You will work as part of a high performing and well-established Management team working with existing and new large-scale well-known customer brands across growth and innovation opportunities. THE SALARY: Offering a competitive salary (dependant on experience) and excellent benefits. WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED: Based at our cutting-edge Head Office in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Maintain warehouse operations within company processes and procedures including Health and Safety. Manage logistics and supply chain activities to optimise efficiency and reduce costs. Lead and develop warehouse leadership team and staff across the site. Maintain close and effective communication with customer representatives. Maintain and develop the Warehouse Management System to streamline processes. Plan resource levels to meet deadlines and priorities whilst minimising overtime where possible. Keep abreast of individual, team, shift and depot performance and deploy continuous improvement techniques to resolve issues. Prepare KPI reports ensuring accurate data is reported to the Senior team and to the board when necessary. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement at all levels. Assist in the growth of existing client base along with collaboration with the business development team to secure new business driving forward our growth agenda. Assist in driving forward our sustainability agenda to enable successful achievement of targets within set timescales through energy conservation, removing waste and increasing recycling. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: Be a self-disciplined self-starter with the ability to work autonomously. You will have excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively, you will also ideally have: Proven experience in fast paced warehousing operations (3-5 years in a management position). Experience in budgetary responsibility. Senior leadership qualities and experience. Previous FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) and ecommerce experience. Cross dock experience. SHEQ experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external networks. Have strong influencing and negotiation skills.
