Warehouse Manager

You’ll play a vital role in supporting the site manager in ensuring colleagues meet or exceed operational requirements for our customer. This will involve organising colleagues and supervising workload to meet Key Performance Indicators, within the agreed timeframe. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days will be the same. Monday-Friday, 40 hours week

What you’ll do on a typical day: Responsible for warehouse management team and overall warehouse function Management of legal and operational compliance for the department Workforce planning and effective resourcing to cope with picking volumes Carry out incident/accident investigations and complete relevant administration in line with Company procedures. Leading a positive Health and Safety culture within the warehouse Employee Relations, including experience dealing with Disciplinary, Absence, and Grievance matters What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous managerial experience within ideally an industrial or manufacturing environment Analytical and a logical approach to problem solving Experience of leading change and continuous improvement ideologies Proactive in Health and Safety management WMS experience ideally using SAP We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
