Our client, a well-established organisation in the warehouse and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team. As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and despatch. Responsibilities: Manage warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels and minimise discrepancies. Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including performance management, training, and development. Identify areas for operational improvement and lead initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, conducting regular audits and training sessions. Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies. Coordinate with the logistics team to optimise the scheduling and routing of deliveries. Resolve any issues with order fulfilment, delays, or customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transport partners to streamline logistics. Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, with proven experience in leadership roles. Degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on management style. Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach. Forklift licence and/or certification in warehouse operations or safety management preferred. Working Conditions: Warehouse setting with potential exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Ability to lift and move items up to [insert weight] and stand/walk for extended periods. - Working hours: 08.30-17.00 (Additional evening hours as and when required) If you are a motivated individual with a strong background in warehouse management, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
