​THE ROLE


​We’re looking to appoint a Warehouse Operative to support our busy Stores Department. Responsible for the deployment of packaged products, the Warehouse Operative will ensure the smooth running of operations – guaranteeing that packages are processed correctly and filled with the right contents.


​​​The role responsibilities include:



  • Picking and packaging bespoke parts and products for inhouse departments as well as customer orders.




  • Packaging products with the correct equipment and methods.




  • Quality checking goods for faults or issues before leaving the Stores Department.




  • Resolve any shipping delays with the chosen courier.




  • Working closely with our Import/Export Coordinator for shipping orders and producing the correct documentation.




  • Maintaining and replenishing stock levels with regular stocktakes.




  • Working closely with Technicians and Department Heads to ensure the timely delivery of parts.




  • Maintain high housekeeping standards by ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy.



 


​WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR


​We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.


​You should be well organised with a keen eye for detail; and be capable of prioritising busy workloads in a time-sensitive environment.


​You should have good communication and teamworking skills, and work effectively whilst following direction as well as under your own initiative.


​You should have strong computer skills with knowledge and understanding of computerised stock control systems.


​A basic knowledge of vehicles and their technical parts is preferable but not essential, and experience in a similar stock-related environment would be an advantage.
