Warehouse Operatives Required – Causeway Road, Corby
Our warehouse team at Stephen Sanderson Transport Ltd are looking for a warehouse operative to support our warehouse team at our Causeway Road (NN17 4DU) or Sallow Road (NN15 7JX) site. The role is key to ensuring a smooth running of inbound and outbound deliveries and helping deliver excellent customer service. This role is very varied and has aspects of manual labour. Accurate receipt and reconciliation of in house deliveries, ensuring all stock is quality checked and allocated to the appropriate areas within the warehouse Handballing, pick and packing is required for a large part of this role Handling of Company issued equipment safely and appropriately in accordance with Company procedures Ensuring that any incidents (people, property, pallets) are reported immediately to the Team Leader, in accordance with Company procedures Follow Company procedures regarding Health & Safety and handling of freight, ensuring these are always followed To work to a high standard of housekeeping and warehouse hygiene in all areas including the yard Provide holiday/sickness cover for team members as necessary Requirements
Pro-active with a “can-do” attitude Committed, flexible team worker Able to work using own initiative Excellent team working / building skills Able to consistently follow Company procedures DESIRABLE – Forklift truck counterbalance or flexi steer licence holder (or previous licence held) Additional information
This is a permanent position and can be offered on a full time basis. Full time hours are based on a minimum of 45 hours per week Monday to Friday (with an hours unpaid meal break), the shift times cover from early morning into the early evening. This is not an evening or night shift role. Overtime is optional and offered. There is a requirement to work weekends and bank holidays on occasion, and you may be required to support at either site. You can expect to earn between £31,000 pa to £33,000 pa, weekly pay, including weekly bonus. 04:00 to 14:00hr Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00hr Monday to Friday Apply for this role
