It's exciting times for this rapidly expanding organisation. We are supporting the Company in sourcing a further 3 Warehouse Operatives! The warehouse professionals will have previous experience of working in a Distribution Centre/Warehouse and ideally have Reach and Counterbalance licences. However, if not then training will be provided. It would be ideal if you have handled hazardous goods previously so COSHH would be a distinct advantage. The roles are based just outside of Sheffield and ideally, you will have your own transport although there is limited public transport. The organisation's Head Office is based here and they have a number of sites across the UK relating to the bio and scientific arena. The role offers a wide variety of warehouse tasks including Goods In and Goods Out and ensuring the accurate receipt of goods, storage and picking and packing, labelling and shipping. Day to day you will be involved in:

Stock checking and getting orders ready to be shipped. Working from a computerised system for booking goods in and out and utilisation of the labelling system. Ensuring allocation of goods in the warehouse. Picking products against customer orders and ensuring they are appropriately packaged. General warehouse work to ensure that QHSE standards are upheld. Regular stock takes and audits. Lifting of goods up to 10kg. Currently, the hours are 40 hours per week 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday but may be subject to change. In return, the salary of 28K, a competitive benefits package including 25 days holiday and Bank Holidays and a Health plan and contributory pension scheme. PLEASE NOTE....
