Warehouse Operative and Van Driver
for our client - Delivering car parts to clients who are local businesses and car garages.
Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operative and Van Drivers in
Leeds.
The rate of pay is
£11.70
per hour.
This is a
full-time
role working
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
and
every other Saturday from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative/Van Driver, your duties include: A mixture of driving and warehouse (no day is the same, sometimes you may be doing more driving and sometimes working in the warehouse more but the client says it's approx. 70/30 driving). Candidates must be completely flexible and willing to do both jobs without any preference as the client requires. Delivering car parts to clients who are local businesses and car garages. Most car parts are very small and light, for example, windscreen wipers and air filters. The heavier products consist of car batteries, brake discs, and exhausts but even these are not that heavy. The client said it's easier work than most warehouses. When they have recruited people from DPD or similar, the client says they are shocked at how easy the work is. Picking car parts (some of the picking is already done but sometimes may need to finish off their own picking before going out to deliver).
Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will be happy to do a mixture of driving and warehouse.
Applicants must have a full clean UK Driving Licence (just a standard car licence is required) and preferably no more than 6 points on the licence.
Experience in a similar role is required.
