YOUR ROLE Our Contract Logistics Solution Design team, which provides innovative and cost-effective customer solutions, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and analytically focused Warehouse Solution Design Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing warehousing solutions for our customers. This role comes with a generous sales incentive bonus. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Reporting into a Warehouse Solution Design Manager, you will provide detailed analytical support and engage in best practice solution design for new business propositions and contract renewals. Your main focuses of responsibility will be: Independently undertake projects from data analysis and warehouse modelling to the preparation of detailed costings using warehouse design tools. Aid senior management with the production of proposals, producing tangible outcomes and contributing to key presentations. Conduct operational solution reviews alongside business development managers to gain operational sign-off. Complete all design and analytical tasks in accordance with agreed timescales. Actively contribute to key contract implementations and other offsite projects that require solution design expertise. This is a highly visible and varied role that will see you playing a pivotal part in designing and implementing warehousing solutions for our customers. The role requires a flexible approach to travel and on-site support; therefore, you must hold a clean UK Driving License and be comfortable traveling across the UK and Ireland. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Proven experience in the logistics and supply chain sector. Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience of managing or leading operational improvement projects. Ability to interpret and present complex information to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Skilled in building strong working relationships with stakeholders, with experience in partnering with project management and business development teams. Experience in a solutions design role with a solid understanding of warehouse operations. Proficiency in preparing warehouse layouts, analyzing operational costs, and using modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD or equivalent). Background in one or more of the following sectors: E-Commerce, Healthcare, Consumer Retail, Technology, Automotive, Industrial, Food and Beverage. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
