Warehouse Supervisor required!
My client is a leading UK logistics company, specialising in next-day and same-day delivery of air and sea freight. They are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their friendly, dynamic team, playing a crucial role in managing and developing the team.
(Warehouse Supervisor) - Position Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Supervise one of the companies key clients' team to ensure they meet and maintain all targets regarding leading airline company's work requirements.
- Liaise with the Client and management to ensure smooth running of the Cabin bag operation.
- Build bags for flights accurately and correctly.
- Build stationery packs correctly.
- Build any flight requirement paperwork.
- Report to the Facilities & Key Account Manager, all issues affecting safety and the security of the warehouse, colleagues and visitors.
- Ensure that the warehouse area is kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure all products are ready for X-Ray.
- Ensure all paperwork is correct for transport.
(Warehouse Supervisor) - Position Requirements
- At least 2 years working experience in a fulfilment operation.
- To undertake Cargo Operative training (supplied by company) upon successful completion of vetting process.
- An understanding of Health & Safety, Site Security awareness and Data Protection.
- Energetic and professional
- High level of personal and team organisation
- Hands on and proactive problem solver
(Warehouse Supervisor) - Position Remuneration
- £28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 (flexibility in hours may be required)
- Contracted 40 hours per week - 1 hour unpaid break each day
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays (33 days holiday in total)
- Auto enrolled pension
- 1 month notice after probation
