Warehouse Team Leader
for our client, a UK leading Safety and Workplace supplier.
Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader in
Tottenham, London.
The rate of pay is
£30,000 per annum.
This is a
full-time
role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are: - 7am to 4:30pm
Your Time at Work Our perfect worker will be able to manage our warehouse team and develop all aspects of the function, in line with legal requirements and company standards of performance. To assist the Operations Manager with the day-to-day logistic functions to ensure our Customers get the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance of a safe working environment Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies. Report hazards immediately. Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices. Ensure the site is secured in line with local requirements at the end of the shift. Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, and that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised. Receive goods and check into the warehouse accurately. Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting, and lowering. Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.
Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have people management experience of a team of around 10 people and be able to work under pressure and adapt flexibility to your working week. Applicants must have strong IT skills.
Experience in a similar role is required.
