Role Overview:
As the Warehousing & Logistics Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of inventory and logistics management for our Newcastle operations, handling both company and customer-owned inventory.
Key responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support for all production activities within the project. Supervise purchasing processes to effectively manage goods receipt, storage, dispatch, cycle counting, order expediting, and logistics. Assist in the efficient coordination of freight forwarding and return logistics operations. Enhance inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with governance standards. Contribute to status updates and performance reporting for warehousing and distribution operations.
Experience needed: SAP experience is essential. Strong leadership experience in a similar role mentoring teams. Experience gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics or any other safety critical/heavy industry environment.
