Warranty Claims Administrator for Ford and Lincoln manufacturer. Administrative duties at Vauxhall, New Jersey location. Meet Training Certification Guidelines. Process warranty claims for Ford, Lincoln, and some aftermarket vehicle applications. Responsibilities and Duties Administrate warranty claims for Ford and Lincoln. Proactive claim involvement from start of claim through claim payment. Assist dealership staff by checking warranty coverage, including manufacturer and extended warranty. Look up operation codes and assist service writers and technicians in the proper warranty repair according to manufacturer guidelines. Work in a busy dealership with high volume; experience is a must. Join a team of individuals to support warranty administration. Responsibilities include claims creation, processing, correction of claims, submitting supporting documentation, and balancing warranty schedule with accounting. Qualifications and Skills Experience with Ford Motor Company, Lincoln Motor Company, as well as some aftermarket applications related to tire and wheel, extended warranty, and warranty claims. Meeting manufacturer training certification requirements. Experience with CDK computer DMS system integration is a plus; training may be provided for candidates currently using Reynolds or Dealertrack. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Office, Excel, scanning, and general abilities necessary for warranty administration of claims.
