36.25 per week

The role is based at the One Trafford Depot in Wythenshawe and involves daily visits to residents and properties within Trafford, using a Council van.

Flexibility will be required to work outside of regular office hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays on occasion, including very early starts to monitor bin collections and exchange bins. Out of hours working is always planned in advance so you will have plenty of notice.

The role is agile and includes working from various locations including Trafford Town Hall and the One Trafford Depot, with some home working.

About the Role Trafford is one of the top recyclers in the Country and this is an exciting role in a small team that loves everything to do with bins, rubbish and recycling.

You will promote waste minimisation and recycling to the residents of Trafford. You will be out of the office most days talking to residents, schools and community groups, trying to change their behaviour getting them to waste less and recycle more.

About you You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to engage in lively discussions about waste and recycling. You will want to connect with the residents of Trafford to help them waste less and recycle more. As a team player, you will forge positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
