Are you looking to join a well-established Building Services organisation to expand your skillset and progress your career? Our client is looking for a skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join them on a permanent basis.

The work is predominantly in the Hertfordshire area, with some occasional London work.

Duties

Conduct water testing and control works, including sampling. Conduct water hygiene tasks, descaling, temperature monitoring, TMV Servicing, etc. Descaling of shower head and hoses. Working in partnership with your fellow Water Hygiene Engineers to carry out Tank Cleans/Disinfections. Calorifier/Hot Water Cylinder Services. Calorifier Clean/Descaling. Expansion Vessel Services. Identify and carry out high-quality plumbing remedial works. Work to ensure LCA standards are met across all sites. Requirements

Demonstrate behaviours in line with our company values: Honesty, Professionalism and Quality. Experience in water hygiene engineering - At least 2 years in a relevant water hygiene role. Remedial plumbing experience, either from domestic or commercial environments. City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (preferred). Experience with water hygiene-related plumbing work is highly desirable. Legionella Awareness Training desirable / City & Guilds water industry certifications and other relevant qualifications in plumbing or water hygiene. Good level of computer skills, ability to use PDA/Compliance system for reporting. Positive attitude and work ethic. Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 parts 1, 2, 3. Ability to make recommendations from service visits. Clean UK Driving License. Clean DBS Record. Benefits

Salary £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience), in addition to your basic salary there are significant opportunities to earn overtime which is readily available. 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday. 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
