Water Hygiene Manager £40,823.74 - £47,096.19 Barnsley 40 hours per week: Monday - Friday Infinity provides a comprehensive range of services within the fields of asbestos, legionella, mechanical and electrical services, fire compliance services and facilities management nationwide. Our highly skilled, flexible team works closely with those within both the public and private sector, from tier one commercial operators through to local authorities. We currently have an excellent opportunity available for a Water Hygiene Manager to join the Infinity team in Barnsley on a permanent basis. As Water Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Water Hygiene department. You will act as a technical lead for all water hygiene services, ensuring that the portfolio of services is delivered to best industry practice by providing technical guidance, expertise, and supervision to the team. Duties will include: Overseeing all aspects of the department to ensure that all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with international standards, HSG 274 Parts 2 & 3, BS8580:2019, COSHH regulations 2002, HASAWA 1974 & LCA procedures. Managing all aspects of quality management for the whole water hygiene team to satisfy LCA and other water hygiene standards. Taking responsibility for the departmental budget, maximizing efficiency through effective use of technology and performance management of the team. Ensuring all training needs are identified and actioned whilst acting as a mentor for team leaders. Managing client requirements by ensuring that they are delivered to agreed deadlines, timescales, and to the standard of the agreed brief. Carrying out legionella risk assessments, tank inspections, TMV servicing, annual inspections, and monthly temperature taking using the TEAMS software. Assisting in providing strategic recommendations based on costing, grading, and prioritizing as identified in the risk assessments. Our Successful Candidate: We are looking for you to demonstrate extensive experience within the water hygiene/legionella industry alongside: Experience within a previous management/supervisory role. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in a related discipline and/or significant relevant experience. BS002 - Cleaning and Disinfectant of Water Systems. BS004 & BSOO9 - Hazard Identification, Risk Assessing and Other Risk Systems. Extensive experience in completing risk assessments, annual inspections, and surveys. Up to date with relevant construction, H&S legislations, risks, and hazards associated with Asbestos. Full UK driving licence to meet travel requirements of the role.
