With over 50 years’ experience, Monarch Water are the UK’s market leader in the distribution of water softeners. At our premises in Diss, we have a full production and R&D facility, both of which sit alongside our head office. We are looking for a dedicated Water Softener Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining water softeners in both residential and commercial settings. Our customers lie at the heart of what we do, which is why we need skilled engineers who can provide exceptional service and technical expertise. The Role: Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of water softeners and related products at customers’ locations. Delivering high levels of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Managing inventory of parts and ensuring adequate stock levels. Achieving high first-time fix rates through effective troubleshooting. Managing your daily schedule and workload independently. Completing service reports and documentation accurately. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Maintaining the company vehicle and ensuring it adheres to company policies. Collaborating effectively with team members while also working independently. Skills Required Proven experience in a service engineering role, particularly with water softeners or similar appliances. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong fault-finding capabilities for both mechanical and electrical issues. Ability to learn and adapt to new products and technologies.
