Location –

Uxbridge or within a 20 minute drive of a UB postcode

Full Time -

40 hours a week – including some evening, weekend and bank holiday work

Salary -

Between £39,629 - £43,000 (includes location allowance) depending upon experience and a £1500 signing on bonus!

As part of your role with HomeServe you will be attending customer’s properties, identifying leaks on the water supply pipes, excavating ground to fix pipes and making the ground good once complete.

Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains is essential; due to the role you must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather types.

A little more about the role:

As a Water Mains Technician you will represent the HomeServe brand and undertake the maintenance and repair work of mains water pipes in private domestic properties. You will provide industry-leading service aligned with our customer and people promises, to help us enhance our reputation and drive customer growth.

About You What you’ll have

Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains

Experience of working in all-weather types

Must hold a full UK driving license, with 6 or less penalty points.

Must be able to approach and resolve problems logically

Can demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand

It would also be great if you had experience of working in an FCA regulated environment

Ideally WIAPS and CCNSG or NVQ Level 2 - but not essential.

Training & Support

To help you settle into your career with HomeServe, you will undertake our extensive training programme.

Week 1 will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 in our award-winning training facility, covering all things HomeServe, Health and Safety, tools and equipment

Week 2-3 you will be buddied up with an experienced HomeServe Water Mains Technician

Week 4 will be 3 days in Nottingham for additional training and support

Where geographically appropriate we will pay for your accommodation
