We are working closely with a professional and industry leading supplier of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services across the UK. They are now recruiting in the South East for a hardworking and business-minded Water Treatment Engineer. You will have extensive experience carrying out cleans and disinfection on CWSTs, calorifiers, and hot water heaters across Industrial, Retail, and Commercial sites. Experience & Qualifications:
Will have experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company. Excellent technical knowledge of chemicals required. Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Good communication skills. IT literate, familiar updating onsite logbooks.
The Role: Legionella & TVC sampling for analysis. Temperature monitoring. TMV install, service, maintenance, and replacements. CWST cleans and disinfections. Carrying out cleans and disinfections of calorifiers & hot water heaters. Closed system sampling, analysis, ensuring to dose with biocides and inhibitors. Undertaking mains injections. Flushing of little used / closed outlets. Calorifier endoscopy inspections & blowdowns. Failsafe testing. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Ensuring to update logbooks upon completion of work. Liaising with clients, providing excellent support and technical advice.
