We are working with a nationally recognised provider of Legionella Management services who are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Engineer to join their team in the South East. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer and is looking to join a forward-thinking and continuously growing company where they can continue to expand their skills and knowledge and progress professionally.
Experience & Qualifications:
Existing experience working hands-on as a Water Treatment Engineer for a reputable Legionella / Water Hygiene company. Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Excellent IT skills, updating onsite logbooks in a timely manner. Able to work on a mixed portfolio of sites. Excellent organisational skills, organising workload in line with company and client needs.
Responsibilities: Working on High Security, Food & Beverage, Healthcare and Heavy Industry sites carrying out various Water Treatment duties, including: Cooling tower cleans and disinfections. LTHW & CWST system sampling and analysis. Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals upon completing analysis. Routine flushing of little used outlets. Inspection, servicing, installation, and replacement of TMVs and failsafe testing. CLO2 unit servicing. Water sampling and temperature monitoring. Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work. Liaising with clients professionally, providing excellent technical support when required.
