A reputable and longstanding South East based Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management company are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Engineer to cover contracts across the South East / M25 area. You will be working on Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, and Social Housing sites, carrying out various water treatment duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines, ensuring all work is completed in line with agreed timeframes.
Experience & Qualifications: Working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry working hands on as an engineer is essential to the role. Good knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Excellent technical knowledge of chemicals. Able to communicate efficiently. Good IT skills, familiar with updating onsite logbooks. Excellent organisational skills.
The Role:
Carrying out cleans and disinfections on cooling towers & CWSTs. TMV install, repair, replace and servicing alongside failsafe testing. Water sampling. Temperature monitoring. Servicing CLO2 units. Closed system sampling and analysis. Dosing systems with correct chemicals. Showerhead cleans and descales. Sampling and analysing LTHW and CHW systems. Routine flushing of little used outlets. Ensuring to update onsite logbooks accurately. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
