We are working closely with a professional and longstanding Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management company based in the South East. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer to join their team. You will be working on longstanding Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, and Social Housing sites, carrying out various water treatment / remedial plumbing duties in line with client needs and HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
Experience & Qualifications: Extensive experience working as a Water Treatment / Remedial Engineer for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Management company. Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher is essential to the role. Excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. IT literate, able to update onsite logbooks. Excellent communication skills. Able to prioritise workload efficiently.
The Role: Conducting cleans and disinfections on CWST and cooling towers. TMV install, repairs, replacement and servicing. Failsafe testing. Closed system sampling, analysis and dosing. Showerhead cleans and descales. Flushing of little used outlets. Servicing of CLO2 units. Carrying out sampling and analysis on LTHW and CHW systems. Deadleg removals. Removing, replacing and rerouting of copper and PVC pipework. Attending site to carry out fault finding, ensuring any faults are rectified in a timely manner. Updating onsite logbooks in a timely manner upon completion of work. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guideline. Liaising with clients, providing support and advice when required.
