We are working with a renowned and nationally recognised provider of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to take on a hardworking and competent Water Treatment / Plumbing Engineer. Covering Healthcare, Industrial, Retail, and Local Authority sites you will be carrying out CWST cleans, chlorinations & repairs, deadleg removals, and cooling tower cleans & disinfections. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into other environmental / compliance sectors, excellent holiday allowance and enrolment onto the company pension scheme.
Experience & Qualifications: Will have experience working for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company. Will ideally hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing. Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Excellent communication skills. Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of relevant chemicals. IT literate. Holding the G3 unvented certificate would be beneficial to the role. Able to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role: Carrying out CWST cleans, chlorinations, and repairs. TMV servicing, installation, maintenance and replacement. Failsafe testing. Mains injections. Routine flushing of little used outlets. Cooling tower cleans and disinfections. Removing, rerouting, and adjusting copper / PVC pipework. Legionella sampling & temperature monitoring. Showerhead cleans and descales. Carrying out inspection of hot water cylinders if G3 unvented ticket is held. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
