Site Supervisor
to oversee vital projects at Coppermills. About the Role As a Site Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our delivery team, managing site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will supervise operatives and subcontractors while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Promote a culture of safety-first, ensuring compliance with all legal and company standards. Conduct daily briefings, SSOW (Safe System of Work) briefings, and toolbox talks. Manage SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) compliance and ensure weekly returns are completed. Supervise and inspect temporary works and lifting operations, ensuring adherence to RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). Team Management Supervise and coordinate the workforce, including subcontractors and operatives. Provide daily briefings to teams, ensuring clear communication of project goals. Maintain accurate diary records of site activities. Commercial and Operational Excellence Manage material orders and control site spend. Monitor and certify completed works to Project Manager & Commercial Team. Identify and escalate commercial issues, including raising EWNs (Early Warning Notices) and TQs (Technical Queries). Ensure projects adhere to budget and timelines. What We re Looking For Skills & Experience Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within civil engineering. Extensive knowledge of deep excavations, lifting operations, service avoidance techniques, trenchless solutions, and operational water sites. Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Qualifications SMSTS or SSSTS certification. CSCS Gold Card (Supervisor Level 3). First Aid (3-Day Course). EUSR SHEA Water. NRSWA and Confined Space Certification. CAT and Genny Certification. Appointed Person Lifting Supervisor. Temporary Works Supervisor. Full, clean driving license.
