Water Treatment Technician

to join this successful team. The role is mainly based at a site in Immingham and you will also be responsible for the servicing of other client accounts in the Humberside/Lincoln region. The position offers a salary from

£28,000 up to £32,000

per annum basic, a call out of

£1700 per year

expecting 1 week on call in 4 in a 4 week month or 1 week in 5 in a 5 week month. Plus overtime at 1.5 times and double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays. Additional benefits include: Company vehicle 25 days holiday Contributory pension scheme 4 x life assurance Private medical etc. The role: You will need to have excellent waste water experience or strong mechanical engineering experience with knowledge of hoses, valves, pumps, filters, etc. The main accountabilities will be to visit each client's site and work to their SLA to ensure that the plant is running smoothly, which involves: Carrying out hand-held water samples to check on pH balance, silica, etc., and taking remedial action where necessary. Checking all water treatment equipment and ensuring that it's working smoothly. Carrying out preventative maintenance and repair of equipment. Auditing to the SLA, checking equipment, and working through reports to submit (reporting on SharePoint). Receiving equipment to be set up on site and ensuring that it's functioning fully. Troubleshooting. Looking at ways to enhance the services to support the client. This role is open to new personnel to waste water who are keen to learn but
