Role: Weapon/Marine Engineer Contract Length: Until 31/03/2027 Location: Bristol/Portsmouth IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate Security Clearance: SC requested Spinwell is recruiting for a Weapon/Marine Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE WEAPON/MARINE ENGINEER Actively seek out non-conformant, duplicate and redundant data within defined delegations. Initiate and coordinate external action where necessary. Ensure data rights, support and business needs are captured and configured against the data that they relate to. Perform audit of system data quality and manage shortfalls. Manage access and governance of the application set on behalf of the platform information asset owners. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE WEAPON/MARINE ENGINEER Experience within the UK Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) environment and/or in the UK/International Defence Industry. All aspects of Data Governance (data Migration, Management and improvement). Experience in IPR, ITAR & ASSC. Practical experience of operating and maintaining a modern warship. Experienced Weapons or Marine Engineer. All aspects of Document Configuration Management. Understanding of defence databases currently in use. Experience and knowledge of the data included in the toolsets above. Experience and knowledge of CSM BP’s, DEFSTANs & BR’s. If you are a Weapon/Marine Engineer, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
