Web Developer – Job Description We’re recruiting a Web Developer to join our team at TeamFeePay! We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining TeamFeePay’s web presence and related applications. This role requires a strong understanding of web development technologies, best practices, and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences. Our Head office is in Catalyst in Belfast and the role will be a hybrid role, however, the successful candidate will be required to travel to the office weekly. Company Purpose TeamFeePay is a software platform for football clubs, helping club committees and volunteers with their club development needs and day-to-day management. Our software and account-managed service supports clubs with our 5-Pillar Club Development approach. Main Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure websites. Collaborate with the design and product teams to transform mock-ups into responsive, functional websites. Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure a smooth user experience. Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications. Implement security and data protection measures. Stay updated with emerging web technologies and trends to incorporate relevant updates into projects. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Launch and maintain international websites to support global business growth. Skills and Experience A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A number of years’ experience in web development. Proficient in modern front-end technologies. Proficient in using Content Management Systems for websites. Familiarity with back-end development and databases. Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with responsive and adaptive design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of UX/UI principles. Experience in developing and maintaining e-commerce or payment processing platforms.
