Web Developer

to manage and enhance our online presence. Purpose of the Role: As our Web Developer, you will be at the forefront of Autotech Group’s digital strategy, managing multiple WordPress sites, optimising user experience, and driving results through improved web performance. You’ll work closely with the CTO on exciting new projects aimed at developing innovative products that generate revenue for the business. This is a key role where your expertise in digital marketing platforms, web management, and SEO will help increase traffic, conversions, and drive brand success. Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimise WordPress sites : Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all web properties, optimise user experience (UX), and maximise conversion opportunities. Regular updates and improvements : Stay ahead of the curve by reviewing and updating web presence in line with industry standards, emerging trends, and best practices. Analytics and reporting : Track and analyse web traffic, sales metrics, and marketing data to measure success, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights to the business. Project management : Lead web-based marketing initiatives, ensuring delivery on time and within budget, while collaborating with internal teams and external agencies. SEO and performance optimisation : Enhance search engine rankings and overall website performance using expert-level SEO strategies and optimisation techniques. Collaborate with teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and provide web development expertise that drives results. Key Performance Indicators: Increase in web traffic, user engagement, and conversions. Improvement in search engine rankings and website performance metrics. Positive ROI on digital marketing campaigns. Consistency in brand messaging and customer satisfaction. Achievement of marketing goals and targets for web-based initiatives. Experience : Minimum 5 years in web management and digital marketing. Technical expertise : Proficiency in WordPress Multisite management and web hosting. Skilled in front-end and back-end development. Expertise in UX/UI design principles, conversion rate optimisation, and web performance. Digital marketing : Proven ability in SEO, paid advertising, and leveraging the Google Marketing Platform. Security expertise : Knowledge of website security best practices and data privacy compliance. Analytical skills : Strong ability to interpret KPIs, marketing data, and use insights to drive performance. Project & agency management : Experience managing digital campaigns, working with agencies, and delivering results. Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or related field.
