WebMethods Integrations Developer 6 Months Contract - Day rate (outside IR35) or fixed term are available dependant on preference (rates to be discussed on application) Remote Working Start date - 2-3 weeks Your new company A well-established organisation who are on a journey to modernise their technology estate. Your new role As a WebMethods Integrations Developer, you will lead the design, programming, testing, and documentation of integrations via the on-premise SoftwareAG Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). Your key responsibilities will include: Producing and supporting high-quality, secure code that meets the organisation's requirements. Facilitating security patching, investigating bugs, troubleshooting, and supporting all maintenance activities. Maintaining and supporting team developments, monitoring performance, and resolving issues. Leading technical projects impacting existing integrations, including system upgrades. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements. Investigating and delivering solutions to development and design problems. Improving performance of existing developments and resolving system failures. Serving as a consultative expert, advising technologists and non-technical stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: Proficiency in developing, enhancing, supporting, and monitoring integrations in SoftwareAG ESB, version 11. Experience in complex SQL (e.g., Oracle SQL & PL/SQL) and API gateways. Experience with components of the WebMethods product set (e.g., Oracle and SQL server JDBC Adapters, API Gateway, Integration Server, REST API Descriptors, SFTP services, Software AG Designer, Jenkins, Salesforce Cloud stream Adapters, Software AG Java Service Creation). Understanding of common internet protocols and markup languages (e.g., JSON, XML, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP).
