What BGAM Does: Invests and develops hotels in the UK, with plans for European expansion. Operates and manages hotels on both short-term (under 12 months) and long-term (12+ months) bases. Provides consulting services to hotel owners and operators. Supports asset divestments and exit strategies. Integrates ESG into every part of the business. About the Role: BGAM is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join their team as an Event Sales & Wedding Coordinator. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting BGAM’s growing portfolio of properties, with responsibility for managing wedding bookings and corporate functions, maintaining sales systems, and driving business conversions. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain a computerized system to track and manage sales enquiries, bookings, and availability. Conduct show-arounds for prospective clients interested in weddings, private functions, and corporate events. Provide timely and professional responses to sales inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service. Research competitors’ wedding trends, offerings, and pricing, ensuring BGAM remains competitive. Prepare weekly and monthly business reports, comparing bookings and highlighting challenges with suggested solutions. Liaise with clients to coordinate wedding details, prepare quotations, and manage follow-ups to maximise revenue. Ensure all wedding bookings are accurate, monitor billing details, and maintain up-to-date client profiles. Generate invoicing information, up-sell products and services throughout the wedding process. Meet and greet clients during their wedding planning stages, ensuring smooth handover to the operations team. Handle customer feedback, resolving any wedding-related complaints and identifying recurring issues to address. Attend weekly functions and sales meetings, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery. Assist in promotional and marketing activities and help develop materials like brochures. Participate in workshops, exhibitions, wedding fairs, and other promotional events as needed. Lead by example and work closely with the team, providing support and guidance where needed. About You: You’re resilient, proactive, and eager to grow.
