Job Title: Weekend Production Manager (12 Months Fixed Term Contract) Hours:

Saturday and Sunday 5.45am - 4pm Work Schedule:

3 weekends out of 4 per month (60 hours total) Salary:

£34,455 per annum prorated Location:

Peterborough, UK Benefits: Annual leave – Prorated per annum

Up to 10% Bonus – Prorated per annum

Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%

Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

About IPSD Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L Cat and Perkins engines that power over 5000 applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Caterpillar’s company strategy includes sustainability as one of four focus areas and IPSD is engaged and actively preparing green energy solutions for the future. Job Summary This Fixed Term Contract role will give the successful candidate greater in-depth experience dealing with the people management aspect of an important leadership role including management of direct reports and all associated systems i.e Kronos/Workday/Occupational health what are needed to support our wider team whilst managing a tactical operational area within Logistics. Part time weekend role with working hours 5:45am till 4pm Saturday and Sunday, or Saturday/Sunday as single shift

The role will cover working 3 out of 4 weekends (60 hours per month)

100% on site

Training potentially could be over the weekend or weekdays

What You Will Have Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. Level Working Knowledge: Utilizes quality indicators relevant to own unit or function.

Adheres to organizational quality management processes and practices.

Applies key aspects of continuous improvement processes and evaluates impact on quality.

Uses quality evaluation tools and techniques such as walkthroughs and inspections.

Works with quality assurance methods, tools and techniques.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Level Working Knowledge:
