We are looking for an experienced welder with a background in both MIG and TIG to join a varied engineering firm in Braintree, Essex.
Starting salary circa £17ph depending on previous experience. Overtime is at time and a half! Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30.
The company needs a welder who can hit the ground running and fit in with their team. You must be able to weld to high standards as well as work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. The company is very varied and carries out work within different industries such as aviation, agriculture, and automotive, as well as many others. Welder duties include: MIG weld mild steel TIG welding stainless steel and aluminium
(essential to have both) Experience welding to various thicknesses Fabrication experience using machinery such as brake press, etc. Work from technical drawings Previous experience fabricating is essential to be considered for the role. A lot of the fabrication is completed with various hand & power tools, but you will also be required to use machinery such as guillotine, press brake, punch press, drills, saws, and grinders.
