Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled
TIG Welder
to join our team based in Corby. As part of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality stainless steel and commercial trailers and rigid bodies, utilizing your TIG welding expertise to ensure precision and durability. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality TIG welding on steel and aluminum components for trailers and rigid bodies. Work from technical drawings and specifications to execute precise welds. Collaborate with fabricators and engineers to meet production goals and client specifications. Ensure all welds meet the highest standards of safety and industry compliance. Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment as needed. Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements: Proven experience in TIG welding, especially working with steel and aluminum. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. Salary & Benefits: Starting salary: 15 per hour. Salary reviewed after 3 months, with an increase to 18 per hour based on performance. Overtime rates: 25 per hour (Mon-Sat), 30 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays).
