Pioneer Sheet Metal, manufacturers of high-quality precision sheet metal products, are currently looking to recruit experienced Welder Fabricators and Sheet Metal Workers to join our team at our Ramsgate facility. Established in 1944, Pioneer provides finished products to a number of interesting industries, including High Security, Defence, Telecoms, Retail, Furniture, Aerospace, and Energy.
Responsibilities:
Candidates must have proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a minimum of 3 years experience. Experience working with Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium in thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 10mm. Welder Fabricators must be experienced with Tig and Mig welding processes. Ability to finish to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects. Good fabrication knowledge and ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Keen eye for detail. Good numeracy and reading skills. A hard-working and can-do attitude. Ability to support the team in times of pressure. Maintain safe working practices. Must be able to perform welding tests. This is a full-time position, offering an opportunity to join our excellent team.
