Due to continued growth, our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Welder / Fabricator with a discipline in 304 stainless steel pipe, tube and sheet to join their team.
This position is a full-time role working Monday - Friday - 8am to 4pm.
Skills required:
Good knowledge of manual/semi-automated TIG and MIG welding with back purging preferred.
Forming of coils and welding stainless steel tube, connecting to manifold in a certain sequence.
General fabrication which involves rolling and forming cylinder shapes and assembly of components for welding.
High percentage of parts are profile cut, formed and tapped for ease of assembly.
Cutting, joining and shaping metal and other material using heat and tools.
The ability to read and understand assembly instructions.
Ensure materials are available and take precise measurements.
Fitting, setting, installing, cutting and welding.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
Technical training or certification in welding and fabrication.
Proficient in MIG, TIG.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.
Skilled with good attention to details.
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
A detail-oriented and methodical approach.
Experience with various welding equipment.
Ability to use electrical or manual tools.
Understanding of technical documents and drawings.
Knowledge of basic safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.
