Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit an experienced Welder to join our client's large-scale design and fabrication business based in Brompton on Swale.
This is a permanent opportunity.
Shift pattern (Dayshift): 6.00 am - 14.30 Mon - Fri 7.30 am - 12.30 (Saturday overtime) - this will be paid at the basic rate x 1.5
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Structural steel welding of plates and sections on a production line up to 100mm thick. Capable of using MAG 135 process equipment to produce single, multi-run fillets and butt welds in the down-hand position. Capable of carrying out visual inspections on the finished welds in accordance with the specification. Correct use of grinders. Use of Overhead Cranes.
Should you be successful for an interview, a weld test will also be carried out. #J-18808-Ljbffr
