Job Description: As a Welder, you will play a key role in fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using a variety of welding techniques. Your expertise in MAG, MIG, TIG, and other welding processes will ensure the production of high-quality components for the automotive, defence, and rail industries. The Welder position involves interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, conducting inspections, and maintaining a safe workspace. Main Responsibilities: Perform welding operations using techniques like MAG, MIG, TIG, FCAW, and GMAW. Interpret and execute welding procedures and technical drawings. Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping to ensure proper fit-up. Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications. Maintain and inspect welding equipment for optimal performance. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless production processes. Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in automotive, defence, or rail industries. Proficiency in MAG, MIG, TIG, and other welding methods. Certification in welding standards (e.g., AWS D1.1, ISO 9606-1) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols. Familiarity with materials like steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them.
