This specialist supplier is located in the outskirts of Stowmarket and is on the hunt for a MIG welder / fabricator to join their expanding team. The role will have you working as a welder / engineer, collaborating closely with the design team to create new products / prototypes.
The starting salary for this position is circa £15ph+ with the opportunity to progress after a successful 3 month probationary period.
Welder / Engineer Duties Include:
MIG/TIG welding of stainless & mild steel components Preparation of stainless and mild steel ready for welding Quality checking after welding to ensure a clean finish Working to tight deadlines Operating manual machinery, i.e. manual mills & lathes Creating bespoke parts as per drawings
Additional experience working with sanders, drills, wrenches, and general mechanical assembly is beneficial.
You will need a driver's license and your own method of transport due to the remote location of this company.
This role will be working 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday.
