Welding Inspector / Penetrant Technician / QC Technician

The ROLE The successful Welding Inspector / Penetrant Technician / QC Technician will be required to do the following duties: Preparation and sign off of project Final Inspection Release Certificates Review Vendor manufacturing data Reviewing of Inspection and Test Records Carry out dimensional, visual, NDE and other inspections Provide QC support to all departments Ensure that the Company QHSE Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible working environment Reviewing of fabrication drawings and Weld Procedures
The CANDIDATE Our client is looking for a Welding Inspector with the following background: Knowledge of structural steel and pipework fabrication CSWIP 3.1 PCN level II Knowledge of ASME Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU) and ISO 3834 European Welding Engineer (desirable) Willing to travel as required
Salary:
£50,000 - £54,000
