Specialise in welding and grinding to repair rails - you will be using Arc & Aluminothermic methods. Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance activities, overseeing work in all weather conditions. Provide clear communication and guidance to team members, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Oversee the transport and handling of equipment across challenging terrain. Develop and implement safe working systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. Qualifications:
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate, support, and direct a team. Extensive technical knowledge in rail maintenance, inspection, faulting, and welding techniques. A strong commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving. NVQ Level 1 or 2 in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience), with a desire to continuously develop your expertise. Full UK driving licence (Category B). MMA Welding Qualification 1-4, HNC or equivalent. Benefits:
GBP £40000 to £42468 per annum | Permanent, 35-hour week (with paid overtime). 30 days' annual leave (excluding bank holidays). Shift premiums for nights & weekends.
